Outstanding Performance: From our tests, the Fiocchi 175GR Sierra Matchking stands out as the best performing ammo for the Tikka Tac A1 308 to date. Its consistency and precision are unmatched, making it a top choice for shooters.
Minimal Deviation: As demonstrated in our accompanying video, this ammo showed very little deviation from shot to shot. This level of consistency is crucial for long-range shooting where every millimeter counts.
Equipment Used: The rifle was equipped with a Riton 5x25 variable scope, featuring a 50mm front lens. This scope provided the clarity and precision needed for accurate long-range shots.
Testing Procedure: We fired a total of 40 rounds, with each group consisting of a maximum of 10 shots. To ensure consistency, the rifle was cleaned before each 10-shot group.
Impressive Grouping: At 300 yards, the best group measured 63.9mm x 40.5mm. This level of accuracy speaks volumes about the synergy between the Tikka Tac A1 308 and the Fiocchi ammo.
Advanced Targeting System: We used the Kongsberg electronic automatic target scoring system for precise measurement and analysis. This system offered detailed feedback on every shot, including group size and more.
Preparation for Accuracy: Prior to shooting at the 300-yard range, the rifle was zeroed at 100 yards. This preparation step was crucial to achieve the impressive accuracy at the longer distance.
